3. What level of commitment will I need to make? 

 Our remedial massage course will require you to study full-time for 12 months at any one of our six campuses.

You can expect to spend at least 25 hours a week learning remedial massage techniques and studying anatomy, physiology, functionality, and functional assessment, in addition to injury prevention and management.

You’ll also need to complete 200 supervised clinical hours to grow your practical skills and consolidate your knowledge.

4. Where will I study?

In order to become a remedial massage therapist and offer health fund rebates to your clients, you need to be a member of the Australian Massage Association.

To join the Australian Massage Association, you need to complete your remedial massage training at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers a nationally recognised course.

When choosing an RTO, consider how long it has been around for and what its track record is.
